Current Clinical Practice Privacy Policy

We respect the privacy of everyone who uses this site. We do not, sell, rent, trade or otherwise disclose any personally identifiable information collected at this site to other companies, organizations, or physicians, except as the user may request.

In order to publish a Web site that meets the information needs of family practice and internal medicine physicians and related professionals, we must know what those needs are and must track how changes in the medical profession affect those needs. That is why we continually collect aggregate user information and evaluate use of this site to gauge its popularity and effectiveness. As part of this process, no individual users are ever identified.

All information garnered from the user service forms located throughout the site is used solely for the purposes stated in those forms. For example, users' phone and fax numbers and e-mail addresses are requested so that we may confirm, check or ask questions as necessary about your subscription, request for back issues, or other order.

The CURRENT CLINICAL PRACTICE circulation department gathers professional information from physicians and other users applying for free subscriptions to the publication. Italicized questions in our online subscription form must be answered in order to qualify for a free subscription (e.g., the physician's month of birth). This information is used in the aggregate only to help the circulation department determine what percentage of the target audience is requesting and receiving the publication.

CURRENT CLINICAL PRACTICE does not assume responsibility for the privacy policies of organizations whose Web sites are linked to our site. Users should consult those sites or their parent organizations for information on the privacy policies that govern those sites.
