Bernard M. Rosof, MD, MACP
 Dr. Rosof is the Senior Vice President for Corporate Relations and Health Affairs at the North Shore-LIJ Health System, Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the Stony Brook University, School of Medicine and Chair of the AMA Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement. A prominent member of the American College of Physicians, he is the immediate past chair of the Foundation Board of Trustees, and Chair Emeritus of the Board of Regents. He also serves on the Steering Committee of the National Quality Forum of Consensus Standards for Nursing Structure Care.
May-Lynn Andreson, RN is Administrator of the Fay J. Lindner Center for Autism and Developmental Disorders, North Shore-LIJ Health System.
Louis Diamond, MD, is Vice President and Medical Director, Thomson Healthcare, a provider of decision support solutions that help organizations across the healthcare industry improve clinical and business performance.
Richard Hellman, MD, FACP, FACE is in private practice in Missouri. He is on the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists Board of Directors; President-Elect, Chair of the Consensus Conference on Patient Safety and Medical System Errors in Diabetes and Endocrinology; and Founder and Medical Director of Heart of America Diabetes Research Foundation.
Karen Kmetik, PhD is Director of Clinical Performance Evaluation at the American Medical Association and a lecturer at the Loyola Graduate School of Nursing. Working with the Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement, Dr. Kmetik has overseen the development of many evidence-based physician clinical performance measurement sets.
Margaret E. O’Kane is the founding President of the National Committee for Quality Assurance, and one of the nation’s leading advocates for improving health care quality through measurement, reporting and accountability.
R. Heather Palmer, MBBC is an active researcher in quality measurement and improvement. A member of the Department of Health Policy and Management, Harvard School of Public Health, she currently sits on the National Quality Forum, Technical Expert Panel on Patient Experience.
Lawrence Gerard Smith, MD is the Chief Academic Officer and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs at the North Shore-LIJ Health System. Dr. Smith chairs the American College of Physicians Education Committee and sits on the ACP Board of Regents.
Jonathan Sugarman, MD, MPH is the President and CEO of Qualis Health, a nonprofit healthcare quality improvement organization.
Jeffrey L. Susman, MD is the Fred Lazarus, Jr. Professor and Chairman of the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Cincinnati. He is the editor-in-chief of The Journal Of Family Practice.
Robert M. Wachter, MD is Professor of Medicine, University of California, San Francisco, where he is the Associate Chairman in the Department of Medicine, Chief of the Medical Service and Co-Chair of the Patient Safety Committee at UCSF Medical Center. Dr Wachter is also an Editor of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) WebM&M and AHRQ Patient Safety Network.
Kevin Barton Weiss, MD, is President and CEO, American Board of Medical Specialties, Director of the Midwest Center for Health Services and Policy Research, US Department of Veterans Affairs and Professor of Medicine and Director of the Institute for Health Services Research and Policy Studies at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He is the Chair of the ACP Clinical Efficacy Assessment Subcommittee of the Education Committee and Co-Chair of the ACP Task Force for Physician’s Clinical Performance Measurement.
